What does Carried Away offer?
We offer vintage style furnishings, place settings, and decor for rent with full service delivery and pickup. Everything gets Carried Away!
We also offer design consultations and event set up where applicable. Otherwise, we collaborate with amazing party planners, balloon artists, venue owners, and decorators in the area and are happy to provide a reference.

What is included in my rental price?
Rental quotes offer an itemized breakdown of what is included. We factor in the rental of the physical items, delivery, pickup, additional rental day charges (if renting for longer than one full business day), NC Sales Tax, and a convenience fee if you choose to pay with a credit card.

What is your delivery radius?
We offer FREE delivery and pickup within a 20 mile radius from our Raleigh, NC headquarters. Outside of the 20 mile radius, we charge an additional delivery fee based on mileage. Set Up and Washing/Cleaning of Place Settings is a separate service with associated fees.

How do I pay for my rental?
We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit for booking once the Price Quote is accepted and the Invoice is sent.
Cancellation Policy:

Before 14 days out: The deposit can be credited toward a future booking for up to 90 days.

After 14 days out: The deposit cannot be applied to future events.
Accepted Payment Methods: Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or Credit Card with an additional convenience fee, which can be paid through our website on the invoice. We do not accept cash.
For large scale events and weddings, we require a finalized headcount 6 weeks out.

Can I come pick up items instead of getting them delivered?
Our full service delivery and pickup sets us apart from our competition with less running around town and more time enjoying your event! We deliver our rental items with care to ensure everything comes back to us in the expected condition. These protocol ensure our rental items return in the best condition possible to make sure future rental requests can be fulfilled!

Oops, there is damage to my rentals! What happens next?
While we deliver our rental items with care to ensure everything comes back to us in the expected condition, we know that not every event will go smoothly. When a quote is accepted, the renter assumes the Legal Terms at the bottom of the quote which states:

"In the event of loss, damage, or breakage, you will be responsible for the full replacement cost for items of similar quality, make and condition. Should this be the case, Carried Away Rentals will provide receipts for replaced items. All items are rented solely under the renter’s responsibility."

This includes rips, breakage, stains, burns, negligence, theft, and extended exposure to the elements such as extended water exposure, rain, flooding, sleet, snow, storms, extreme heat or cold, etc.

Smoking and Open Flames are completely prohibited near and on our rentals.

Items will be inspected at pick up and notice will be sent with 8 hours of pick up for any damage related charges. Damaged inventory will not be available to keep/purchase as a result of damage related charges.
